Poltesa.ac.id – Sambas State Polytechnic (Poltesa) supports the national vaccination program by urging all Poltesa students to take part in interfaith vaccinations organized by Muhammadiyah and USAID Central Leadership at Poltesa Campus, Monday (18/10/2021).

The Chairman of the Muhammadiyah Regional Leadership (PDM) of Sambas Regency, Minhani, SE, ME, said “a big thank you to all parties who support the implementation of this vaccination, especially to Poltesa who have been willing to prepare all facilities for the implementation of interfaith vaccines at the Poltesa Campus. , “he said.

Director of Poltesa, Yuliansyah, SE, ME, explained that Poltesa is committed to supporting the national vaccination program, “in the context of preventing the transmission of covid-19 we fully support the national vaccination program, for that we urge all Poltesa students to participate in the implementation of interfaith vaccination held Muhammadiyah and USAID at Poltesa Campus,” he explained.

Furthermore, the Director of Poltesa also revealed that “vaccines are our endeavor to be healthy, and to create herd immunity so that group immunity can be created, this is our main goal, and the direction of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology, for Face-to-face Learning ( PTM) in universities, lecturers, staff, and students must participate in government vaccinations, for that we fully support this vaccination program, “he said.

The Director also said that “the number of students who participated in this vaccination was approximately 900 people, plus 300 people who had previously been vaccinated, the total was 1200 people, meaning that around 70% of Poltesa students have been vaccinated. Out of a total of 1800 students, this is our target is to be able to carry out PTM on the Poltesa campus, “he explained.
